Sony Ericsson W205 is the newest walkman in town

Say hello to the brand new stylish walkman series phone W205, recently launched by Sony Ericsson. The latest member of the walkman series comes with usual speaker phone, Opera browser, 1.3 mega pixel camera with 2.2 X digital zoom, up to 2GB expandable memory and video recorder.
Right from displaying album art along with ID3 tags of currently played tracks, down to the standard Bluetooth functionality the W205 provides you with everything. It also comes with its own share of surprises such as the TrackID music recognition, with the help of which, one can instantly capture any sound and use it as ring tone as well.
It comes with a 1.8 inch display screen, elegantly backed-up by the Ambient Black body, along with a moderate phone memory of 5 MB. Its recommended accessories primarily include the Sony Ericsson MS410 Snap-on Speaker Stand, and theW205 features a trendy slider design, giving you style and comfort along with good specs.
Sure thing it’s going to be another affordable phone in the market, but it will be a revolution in the walkman series after a long while, putting the monotonic feeling of Walkman series to an end. What’s more you can also create multiple phonebook, allowing you to organize your contacts as you wish.
The MS410 Snap-on Speaker Stand offers compact convenience, integrated FM radio antenna, along with a video cum music stand. Its unique sliding mechanism perfectly fits the Walkman phones easily as well. As far as the operating frequency and other factors are concerned, the W205 is fully complaint with GSM/GPRS/900/1800, while the W205a is complaint with the GSM/GPRS 850/1900 bands. There’s no word on availability yet, but as mentioned by Sony Ecricsson’s representative, the phone may be available in after July in selected countries. So enjoy the W205 and let the music play!
