Well, forget about the age old 52MBPS and 96MBPS read/write rates, the PhotoFast G-Monster PCIe SSD 1TB drives have been announced with 1,000MBPS read/write speeds. Yes, you read it right, this will be the first time that any drive will feature 1,000MBPS read/write rates, not to mention the additional strong specs.
The PhotoFast drives will come with capabilities to connect to x8 PCI-Express slots, and provide you with high 1TB storage capacity at the same time. These are of course solid states drives, but they are not similar to the other options available in the market by any means.
Until now, read/write rates higher than 512MBPS were almost a dream, but the super fast speeds of 1,000MBPS are no more limited to your whims and fancies. What’s more, these PCIE SSD 1TB drives are available in vivid storage capacities right from 256GB, 512GB, down to the extremely high 1TB storage capacity.
It supports MLC flash, ECC DDRII and SDRAM memory, as well as a handy local cache memory of 256MB.
As far as the availability of these super-fast SSD drives is concerned, they are expected to it the Japanese market by the end of this month. These drives are surely a big evolution in the world of technology, and now can not only back-up your precious data on the fly, but also transfer even an entire DVD within seconds, while it used to take minimum of a minute to get the same thing done in past.
