1.Make sure that you have a photo of you on your Internet dating profile or that you send one to her. Before a woman is even going to take you seriously, she is going to need to know what you look like. Make sure that this is a current photo of you and not of you 5 years ago or a photo of your friend who you think is hotter than you. Looks are not everything, but we need to at least be able to put a face to who we are talking to.
2.Don’t be afraid to make the first move. This means that you may send the first instant message or email to her. If she pursues it, then ask for her number. Women don’t have to call men, so make sure that you call her. If you are truly interested in her and want to get to know her better, then with most women you are going to have to make the first move.
3.Only pursue women when you actually meet their criteria. If a woman has on her Internet dating profile that she is only looking for a man between the ages of 30-35 and you are 27 years old, then respect her wishes and don’t bother her. If she wanted a 27-year old man, she would have noted that in her criteria. This also goes for interests. If she only wants a man that likes the same things she does and you don’t have many of the same interests, then it is best to just pass her up.
4.If you are looking for a serious relationship with a woman, don’t just focus on her looks. Remember that beauty fades over time. Look for things that you have common or something that really sparks your interest. Personality and qualities last a lot longer than one’s looks.
5.Don’t give her way too much information before you have even established an Online relationship. She doesn’t need to know everything about you and your past right upfront. In fact, divulging too much information, such as any issues that you have with your mother or some childhood trauma incident, will scare the woman away.
Some men seem to get discouraged because they don’t get a lot of hits on their profile or they don’t get a lot of messages from women. The fact is that women are not going to chase after you. When you join an Internet dating site, you are most likely going to have to do the chasing. You may get a woman message you every once in awhile, but again you are most likely going to have to take the lead for it to go anywhere. Coming from a woman, don’t get discouraged. Women are afraid of rejection, which is mainly why they will not contact you first. Just remember that with Online dating, you don’t have to worry about ever seeing these women in your life, so why not jump in and take the chance on them?
