Microsoft’s SURFACE gets bigger and better

Crazy about the iPhone, iTouch, Moto-Ming and the latest touch-powered gadgets? Well, for those of you, who love to toy with the electronic gadgets with your hands, this is your hen’s pick.
What could have been a dream with open eyes sometime back is now all real, thanks to Microsoft. The Microsoft Surface is a full end-to-end touch machine with special emphasis to multimedia and graphics. Recently the Surface SP1 update was released, which aimed mainly at jellying Surface and Windows7 together and increase the cross-compatibility between the two. This relieves developers over their thought of their apps being touch compatible. This comes in as good news as the Surface goes well with Windows7.
The hardware of Surface is a blessing. It is a lot fun to develop once the hardware design is done. But, what really is a ban is the platform incompatibility. It is a trouble when you try to place software on a similar, but not identical platform. Surface is of course an upper hand over its Dell counter-part as it resists a myriad of touches.
Definitely, the Microsoft Surface is not the one to add pride saying “A Surface in my desk”. But, definitely it would be a treat to watch the Surface-Windows collaboration.
As of now, all that we can say is that the Surface technology has added a world of goodness to the Microsoft’s portfolio, and the potential of this platform is virtually endless.
Sure thing, you can expect to see lot more from Microsoft and others on this platform, as Dell and other rivals have already started on their future planning to compete with Microsoft. It would be interesting to see if Google tries to poke nose in Microsoft business once again as it has always done
