Aleron has come up with a brand new iPhone peripheral that is sure to make your iPhone experience even more exciting and pleasant. Aleron has announced that it will let this add-on into the market soon. And the add-on we’re talking about is none other than the all new Ultra Wide Band (UWB) AL5301 that helps the users to synchronize the iThings wirelessly with Mac and the PC. It will be introduced to the public at the Computex show in Taipei scheduled at the end of this month. It is expected that the AL5301, in the future may permit a wireless connection to HDTVs for podcasts, videos or for showing photos.
As an add-on feature, the AL5301 has an additional battery pack that provides extra operating life for the devices, though the actual power addition is not clear till date. This is a sure sign of relief for those apple lovers who actually hate its battery life. The AL 5301 can be interfaced into the docks of all compatible iPods and iPhones. The gadget is expected to provide more than 130 Mbps of delivered throughput for mass storage applications, 175 Mbps for video applications over the wireless USB and a little greater than 200 Mbps of throughput for upcoming DLNA based applications.
So you can expect quality synchronization, video and audio traffic and many such value added services to and from your apple devices without any mess-up or hassle via the Aleron AL 5301. Looking at the recent developments, it appears that the day you could sync your HDTV with your media player wirelessly and get the transfers done easily is not too far off!
