As we add every year to our age, we not just add our experience but also various kinds of disorders. The most important problem all elderly people face is the difficulty of sleeping. This can be attributed to a whole lot of issues relating to change in lifestyle, physiological changes to the retina and so on. Would you ever believe that there is a gadget help our seniors in their sleeping? This is a perfect gift for your granny or your grand dad.
Lightning Research Center at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute (RPI) has developed a personal treatment device or more like a blue bulb in goggles. These glasses were used on 11 people in the age group of 51 to 80 at two different brightness levels for 90 minutes. Blood observations were made at 60 minutes, 90 and 150 minutes.
The results revealed that after 90 minutes of usage, in case of the higher brightness level subjects ceased using the lights. This clearly proved that the older lights used at many retirement facilities and nursing centers was not a better option.
This throws out better options of the all new special blue light goggles. The studies on this device are still in progress. However, one thing is for sure at the moment, and that’s the sheer fact that it can not enter the market soon enough. So, those elderly people who expect to maintain a better sleeping routine and those kith and kin who wish to comfort them with a better sleep plan have to wait for a few more months for sure, to get their copy of the advanced blue light goggles.
