iPhone 3G S vs Nokia N97

Two big smartphones have just hit the European and American markets, and these two mega products will be moving towards the Asian market by the month of August. Now, the million dollar question would be which one amongst the two will come out superior and dominate the market?
Looking at the current standings of the iPhone 3G, there are already a huge number of Apple fans, who’re badly waiting to get their hands on the revived iPhone 3G, which will not only feature faster browsing, high performance, but also bring an end to all the disappointment because of the missing features in iPhone 3G.
Both iPhone 3G S as well as the Nokia N97 will feature a powerful 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus, GPS, video recorder, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity as well as the other standard specs of the high end cell phones.
However, Apple has also played the big trick by bringing down the prices of the existing iPhone models by $100 and the starting range of the old-iPhones will be $99! But, on the contrary, the iPhone 3G S is supposed to be around $100 costlier.
Nokia has no answer to the legendary App store, though they’re also trying hard to establish the OVI services in the market. Nokia maps have been doing decently well, but nobody has got an answer to the all-time favourite Apple store from which, over 1 billion users have downloaded the apps for iPhone and iTouch already.
With a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, more like the Sony Ericsson Xperia, the Nokia N97 will not really offer something far superior than the iPhone 3G S, but it is priced around $600-$700 mark, which is not a very good piece of news for the Nokia fans. Next few months will clear out things, and we’ll be able to see who reigns superior in the market.
