There are certain qualities in common that almost every woman looks for in a man. It doesn’t matter if you are 20 years old or 60 years old, here are 10 things that women look for in a man.
1.Intelligence
Women want a man that they can carry on a conversation with. If you are dumber than a box of rocks, you are going to get pretty boring and frustrating really quick. You don’t have be a genius, but should be able to carry on an intelligent conversation on something besides sports.
2.Sense of Humor
Women realize that looks will eventually fade, but a sense of humor does not. If you can make us laugh, we can be like putty in your hands. Although a sense of humor is something women look for in a man, the humor has to be the right kind. No dirty or crass jokes, please!
3.Trustworthy
If a woman can’t trust a man, then forget about her wanting a relationship with him. Trust is such an important quality in a man and can make or break a relationship.
4.Good Looks
Women are only human and they are going to be attracted to men who are good looking. The thing to remember, though, that a guy who is good looking to one woman may not be to another, so even if you are not Brad Pitt or George Clooney, you can be attractive in your own unique way.
5.Passion and Drive
Women want men who have passion and drive in their lives both professionally and personally. If you have no aspirations or dreams then why would a woman even want to date you? You are going nowhere in life and you will only be left behind in her dust.
6.Honesty
Honesty falls in the same kind of category as trustworthiness. Women need to know that their men are being honest to them. We don’t mind the occasional white lie to save us from hurt feelings, such as when you tell us we don’t look like we have gained any weight even though we may have gained 10 pounds. It’s the bigger lies, like who you are going out with, talking to, spending money on and so on that we need truth about.
7.Confidence
Women don’t want an arrogant man, but we need to know that you are confident about yourself and you have high self-esteem. Having low self-esteem and no confidence in an of your abilities is a huge turnoff and is just way too much for the average woman to handle in a relationship.
8.Respectfulness
For any woman to date actually have a relationship with you, she needs to be shown respect. This means that you treat her like an equal. No jokes about women being less intelligent or able to do something. Show us respect and we will show it back to you.
9.A Knight In Shining Armor
This means that if someone makes us mad or picks on us, you defend our honor. You don’t have to physically defend us (unless the situation actually calls for it) but we need to know that you are always on our side and keeping us safe. Sometimes this is as simple as listening to our problem and just telling us you agree and that we were right!
10.Personality
Women need to see some actual personality from a man before she is going to want to date him. We know that some men are shy, but if you are a cold fish or you are so boring that we want to bite our hand off, you are not going to last long at all. Simply let your personality shine through no matter how off the wall it may be.
