Planning a Date – What Men Should Know
Thursday, July 16th, 2009
Once you know that a woman is willing to go out on a date with you, do you know where to go from there? How can you make a great lasting impression on your first date or even on your fifth date? Here are some things that men should know about planning a date when it comes to knowing what will win a woman over.
*When planning the actual day of the date make sure that it is not too far away. Try to plan for it within a week or otherwise your may get too stressed out and the woman may even lose interest if it is too far away.
*For a first date, try to plan a casual date at a casual location. It could be a restaurant, but try to pick more of a casual, fun restaurant rather than an expensive formal one. Some men expect more from a woman when they pay more for a date. This is absolutely wrong and men should never do this!
*Ask for the woman’s input on the date. Ask her if there is anywhere she has in mind that she would like to go or has always wanted to go. If she says that she does not care, then don’t push it any further and it is up to you to plan the date.
*When planning the date, if you are going to be driving separate to the location, make sure that it is convenient for the the woman. You don’t want to meet at a place that is 30 minutes away from your date and only 5 minutes for you. It should be the other way around.
*Be sure that you put a full-force effort into getting dressed looking presentable. No woman wants to go out with a slob. If we are giving you some of our precious time, then you need to respect us and look appropriate for the date.
*Women are not impressed with your platinum Visa that you whip out for dinner. In fact, if you really want to impress a woman, pay for cash with the meal. This way we know that you can actually afford the date and are not just fronting with tons of credit card debt that you may have.
*Make sure that you arrive for the date with ample time to spare. It does not matter if you are picking your date up at her home or you are meeting at the date location, you should always ensure that you are on time and even a little early. This shows that you respect the woman’s time. Plus it is just plain rude to show up late to a date.
*Remember to be organized. Always remember to bring your wallet on a date. There is no way that your date wants to hear that you forget your wallet, so she is going to have to pay this time.
*Relax and have fun! This is the most important thing to remember for a successful date.
