Maybe you have had this happen to you in the past or maybe your girlfriend did not cheat on you but took you for everything you have and left. Here is how you can avoid dating that type of girl again. Look for these signs to see if you can trust your girlfriend.
She Introduced You To Family and Friends
If a woman is planning on using or abusing you and then quickly getting rid of you, she is not going to take the time to introduce you to her close friends and family. If you have met her close circle of friends or made the trip to her parent’s house, there is a good chance that she plans on keeping you around for quite some time. Also, watch the way that she interacts with her friends and family. Does she get along with her family members? Do her and her best friend fight often? Have you heard any family or friends say anything negative about her? Those can also be indications that you may or may not be able to trust your girlfriend.
She has Open Communication
If you seem to call her or text her and she doesn’t return your calls until the next day or not all, this may be a sign that she may be doing something that she should not be doing. If she shares her schedule with you and what her plans are for the week, this on the other hand, is a good sign that you can trust her. She should also show up when she says she is going to and actually return your calls, emails, or texts within a reasonable amount of time. Open communication leads to honest communication which you can put your trust into.

Ask her why she lied and if she has lied about anything else. Trust your instincts when it comes to her lying.
If you find that your girlfriend meets one or more of these warning signs of not being trustworthy, then it is your job to dig a little deeper and find out what she is all about. This doesn’t mean snooping, but it may mean talking to friends or finding out more about your girlfriend. If you are really having a problem with trust, then the relationship is doomed from the start and may just be better off ended before you get hurt.
