Believe it or not, if a woman really loves you there are plenty of ways that you can win her back. Now, this is not for all situations, as some reasons for breaking up such as infidelity and abuse may have no way to win her back. But, if you broke up because you were headed in different directions or you just didn’t know what you had till it was gone, then here are some ways that you may be able to win her back.
Don’t Act Desperate
Acting desperate is only going to make you look pathetic in your ex’s eyes. Instead you need to have confidence and act like you are pulled together around her even if you are crying your eyes out at night over your breakup. You can make subtle hints about how you miss her and how sad you have been, but the minute you see her, don’t start weeping at her feet. Be subtle about and be a man!
Don’t Get a New Girlfriend
If you really want your ex back, don’t go out and date the first girl that you meet after you breakup. This shows a woman that you still have feelings for her and not just any woman will do. You want her and her only. If you do decide to go on a date, don’t do with someone she knows. This will lead to even more trouble, especially if she hears about it from the other woman.
Send Her an Email
If you have her email, which almost every person has, send her a quick email once in awhile to see how things are going. Keep it very casual unless she brings something serious up in the emails. Email allows you to keep in touch while not being pushy about it. It gives her space, but lets her know that you still care about her life. Don’t send her emails about how much you still love her and want her, as this may make you seem like a stalker instead of being thoughtful.
Call Her Once the Storm Has Settled
It may be wise to wait at least a few days after you break up to call her. If the breakup was really bad, you may want to wait a little longer. Call her and apologize for anything mean you may have done or said. Let her know how much she means to you and if she is happy with the break up then you can live with it. Don’t come across pushy or chauvinistic saying that she doesn’t know what she is missing. Instead, be sincere and keep the conversation friendly. If she seems to be ok with talking to you, it may even be possible to ask her to meet you for lunch (not a date!) somewhere so you can talk. Having an informal lunch together may just be what you need to slide back into a relationship with her.
Winning back your ex-girlfriend can be possible but a major factor is how the breakup took place and what the relationship was like. Some relationships are dead and over with on the spot, while others there may always be that chance that you can get her back.
