The beginning of a relationship always starts out the same. You are on your best behavior, you dress nice, you have proper manners and so forth, but then all of a sudden you start getting a little too comfortable with your girlfriend. You may start to get lazy and stop doing the nice things that you used to do for her or you stop acting like such a gentleman at all times. This happens in just about any relationship, but with some relationships these changes may just totally kill the whole deal for the woman. Here are some relationship changes to be aware of that may just kill the relationship for the woman and you may watching your girlfriend walk out the door if you are not careful.

You Start Slacking On your Hygiene and Appearance
In the beginning of the relationship, you may have showered every day shaved, combed your hair and looked presentable when going out with your girlfriend. You may soon find that you skip some showers, shave about once a week and your hair hasn’t been cut in over 2 months. Any common sense would tell you that your woman likes to have you fresh and clean and not be totally turned off by your appearance. If you stop caring for yourself, then how are you supposed to care for her?
You Stop Complimenting Her
When was the last time that you told your girlfriend that she was pretty or that she looked nice on one your dates? Did you notice when she changed her hairstyle or bought a new dress? If you stop giving your girlfriend compliments she may think that you are not interested anymore and may find another guy to compliment her. This doesn’t mean that you have to compliment her every minute of the day, but pay attention and when a compliment is due, give her one.
You Start Getting an Attitude
In the start of the relationship you may have worked out your differences and compromised. You may have been able to control your temper around her, but soon you find that you get complacent and you start getting a major attitude. This is a total relationship breaker for a woman. Women don’t want a guy who has a temper problem or has attitude every day of the week. If you really want your relationship to work with this girl, then you will try to do anything to control your attitude.
You Start Taking Her for Granted
This is a huge one when it comes to long term relationships. This not only happens with guys but women do it too. You start taking her for granted when it comes to the normal everyday things. You may stop telling her thank you when she cooks you dinner or picks up your dry cleaning. You may start assuming that every Friday night she comes over your place instead of you going to hers. It may be little things that you start taking her for granted for or it may be the larger things, which can definitely lead to the end of a relationship.
If you have been with your girlfriend for some time now, evaluate these items and see if they pertain to you. You may just gain some insight on how to potentially save your relationship from doom.

Unfortunately its just one of those natural human thing that we do, but the truth is, only we can change the situation, and those that do, will have a great future marriage ahead of them!

Do you have to be in a “relationship” to love someone else? Do you have to be a “husband” to be a father? To me, it seems like saying that one cannot hang with any other friend except their best friend…
I think one must be careful about complimenting too much also as it might give an impression of being fake. I am aware when someone’s compliment is genuine and when it’s for other reasons, like getting something out of it from me or to cheer me up.

Relationships can suck or they can be wonderful. I love the saying, “can’t live with them, cant live without them. Love the advice on keeping your cool I should think about that next time someone (a female) stresses me out.

This is really funny, but critical situation.
I get compliments about my eyes from guys and girls (really blue with long dark lashes, even though I’m blonde), but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are romantically interested.
These are all big no nos it really is too bad when you find someone you link and you think it is going really well and then they slack off it gets quite annoying and makes me feel like I have wasted my time.

It’s very important to always maintain your hygiene. Being dirty and unkempt is going to create an aura of depression for those around you and you certainly don’t want your partner to be among them after all.
I totally agree on the hygiene part, there is never a reason to let ourselves get nasty, it’s really about self esteem…hard to imagine a woman changing her mind about us when she realizes we REALLY never had an self esteem? As a handyman in Marietta GA, I get plenty sweaty at work, and my wife still hugs me when I get home, but then again, I would never take her out in that state either…
