Recently this guy I liked and was getting to know over the net for some months and we were going to meet, insulted me big time. After months of getting to know each other, sharing so much about our selves, and never talking sex so it was always heart to hear talk, and even him stating out romantic things like i was the girl of his dreams.. he suddenly drops the following mayor insult when I was talking about some photoshoots I have gotten with different photographers (i am a recording/composer artist and have been portrayed often). He said 1st that the one photographer “wanted to sleep with me” because he did not like the pictures, and then after I took this with calm and assured him it was not the case, he had to drop the final bomb that made me blow up in a split second. AND that bomb was: “yeah the other guy took the nice pictures because you probably slept with him”. To this I went nuts (because none of that was even remotely true and he knew it) and responded with : “get rid of that attitude or i will get rid of you!!” , then he started yelling ridiculous things like that he was not my “trained monkey” and he did not have to do as i said… at this point i hanged up (cannot stand someone yelling at me) after trying to find the botton in the computer to do this.
Till this day he has not apollogized , in fact he kept writing on the chat saying how “I acted as if i was a “prize” and I was absolutely not, and that my vanity was overwhelming”… none of which had anything to do with his insult to me, out of nowhere and I was just chocked at how someone could be so stupid and/evil to say such things. Frankly I still cannot understand what goes on inside the mind of this man, who had been most of the time nice but I have told some friends and some say it was just a stupid thing and i should not take it that bad. I think its outrageous, I think its awfull and that he should have been slapped big time or taken directly to therapy for being so f*** up cause none of ti made sense. He went on to write on the chat even when I was not there anymore, telling me to not bother to write or call him anymore… I flipped out. How can one be so stupid, so arrogant when one is the one insulting? my only thought is that this guy is seriuosly perturbed and that he is also 8 yrs old and has been abused and his unresolved issues make him go nuts and flip an irrational drama queen mode. now some days after I actually feel pity for him, for his great loss and feel like writing to him, but i know i shouldnt.
I have to say i am a woman with great self confidence and self esteem and some people who dont know me see me as arrogant but thats because they are insecure themselves because i know my faults and my suceses and i say them no problem. But i cannot stand men who cant stand secure women and unfortunatly ive encountered this problem many times before where they will fall for me and then they start the whole controlling emotionally abusive cycle to try and put me “down”… its crazy but I wish I could know how to avoid it altogether.
I want to know what you think and you would have reacted…
