Terminator 4
Wednesday, March 18th, 2009
In 1984, James Cameron directed a then-unknown Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Terminator. The movie centered around a future threat posed from artificial intelligence on humans and was popular enough to spawn two sequels through 2003. Now, six years after the last movie in the series was released, Terminator Salvation is set to hit the theaters May 21, 2009. But while the name of the movie may be the same, there are many changes abound for the Terminator universe.
The biggest change to the series in the newest movie will be a change in setting. Until now, the focus of the movies revolved around the main character, John Connor, and the efforts made to keep him safe from future assassins set to kill him. In Terminator Salvation, however, the previously young Connor is now all grown-up and a member of the human resistance to robots. He will be played by Christian Bale, a bankable actor best known for his portrayal of Batman in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
Bale’s presence is hoped to help fill the star-power void left by Schwarzenegger, who will no longer be able to appear in the series. Arnold is, of course, currently the governor of California and hasn’t taken on acting jobs for quite a few years. And as the most familiar face of the series, his absence will seem difficult to overcome for fans of the previous films. On the plus side, Arnold has agreed to do a short cameo for the film for fans.
In addition to the large changes named above, the newest Terminator flick will also see new robots and machines posing threats to humankind. Everything from underwater machinations to an android who believes himself to be human will be featured in the movie. This means that moviegoers can expect to be awestruck by the sheer volume of computer graphics displayed in the movie. Explosions, chase scenes, and gun fights are sure to highlight a movie jam-packed with action potential.
Terminator Salvation is hoped to be the first of a new series of movies for the franchise, as options for two more movies exist depending on the financial success of the film. But with the film set in the future with a brand-new cast, there is still doubt as to whether or not it can capture the same audience the original films did. One thing is for sure, with familiar faces and a large budget, the movie will do its best to be as entertaining as possible.

There is plain a lot for me to learn outside of my books. Thanks for the important read,
Finally, I found the information I was looking for. I have been doing research on this subject, and for two days I keep entering sites that are supposed to have what I am searching for, only to be disappointed with the lack of what I needed. I wish I could have found your web-site quicker! I had about 30% of what I was looking for and your website has that, and the rest of what I need to complete my research. Thank you and I will report back on how it goes!
I honestly wasn’t a huge fan of the new Terminator movie, for me the first 3 Terminators were way better! Especially the second terminator movie
Till then,
Jean

Thank you for creating this blog and sharing your viewpoint. I like reading it during my lunch break at work. It is nice to consider my mind off work even if for only 30 mins. Cheers
Yeah, The Guberminator
Special effects are great but I think that Terminator 2 is still the best.
in this article. A little bit in a hurry, did not get to read everything but will definitely come back later to finish everything. I had no clue on some of the things you mentioned earlier, thanks!. Wishing you long hours of hard work
Hello there! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting fed up of Wordpress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
The special effects were about all that they had going for it in this movie. Terminator 4 started off okay but ending in the same way as the first 2 movies? Lame. This movie just about killed the terminator franchise. I am not sure if any director can pull a “salvation”.

A Terminator movie without Schwarzenegger will be very hard to pull off. It will have to be something special to satisfy fans of the original trilogy.
I am just not a fan of the terminator
I didn’t like the old terminators but I actually saw the new one and it isn’t half bad.
