All Anabolics Aren’t Bad
Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

One thing that you will universally find across all gyms is the conversation regarding the use of anabolic steroids. There are still many folks who use them regularly but won’t say it out in the open. Anabolics have received quite a lot of criticism in the recent past and are now looked upon as the most ‘uncool’ thing to do as far as muscle gaining programs are concerned. Some of you may recall that at the peak of his acting career, post the Terminator2 release days, Arnold Schwarzenegger had once commented that he does use them and doesn’t know of a single, smart bodybuilder who hasn’t used them at some point in time. So the question really is are Anabolics actually that bad? Do they really screw-up your body system forever?
The truth is that most of substances that are being passed around as anabolic supplements aren’t what they claim to be. For the uninitiated, these drugs aren’t that cheap. Most of these cheaply-manufactured supplements spike their protein powders with amphetamines that are useful in recovering from post-workout strain but also make your metabolism dependent on them. The fact is that nearly every serious sports athlete uses anabolics during his rigorous training regimens and working-out in the gym shouldn’t be treated any different. The problem is that most guys end-up purchasing grey-market, cheaply-procured versions of the actual stuff that does more harm than good.
There are many nutritionists worldwide who recommend using dietary supplements including small, steady and safe doses of anabolics that are given on a periodic basis. The reason is simple — they are very effective to recover from the trauma that goes in hard muscle training. Most of the cases where side-effects or damages related due to anabolic use have been reported are mostly cases of abuse, i.e. a highly potent supplemental anabolic drug being taken without medical supervision and consumed beyond the body’s requirement.
What’s your thoughts on anabolic use?

I think anabolics are harmful but not to this degree and also on the long run not the recent effect
But also it is a must for everyone who wants to be a professional in body building like Arnold say
So it should be more organized and the use of the cheaply-procured one should be limited
