Most men start breaking out in hives when they have to come up with a gift for their woman. What men don’t realize is that buying a gift for a woman is not that hard at all. Yes, it may take some thought and that may be hard for some men, but there are some fall back gifts that I will give you later that will work for just about any woman.
It doesn’t matter if it is her birthday, your anniversary, or it’s Christmas, a woman wants her man to put some thought into her gift. If a guy runs out for a gift five minutes before he sees her and hands her a gift card to the gas station, that most likely will not go over very well with most women. I know that men are not the best with dates, but having a calendar with important dates written down, i.e. birthday and anniversary, can help you have enough time to plan for a gift. Start thinking about what she wants or what she would like at least a week before the event. This gives you enough time to properly plan out the gift without being rushed. That means it also gives you time to hint and ask subtle questions about what she wants as a gift.
Another tip when it comes to buying a woman a gift, don’t buy her something that you will like but she will not. Her gift should not be for in you in some sort of way. If you buy tickets for a concert for her birthday it should be for a singer that she likes and not your favorite band. This just looks selfish and immature. It’s her day and her gift should reflect her taste and personality and not be about you.
Gifts don’t have to cost a fortune. In fact some of the nicest gifts are inexpensive or even free. For example, a poem written by you is something that she can cherish forever, where is a big luxury car will eventually rust and stop working. Women like gifts that men make for them. When we receive a handmade gift, we know that it took thought and time on your behalf and that is what counts the most. So, get creative and think about what your talents or gifts are and put them to good use for her.
If you are really at a lost of what gift to get your woman, there are some standby classic gifts that most women will love. They include:
- a spa package at her favorite salon
- a locket with a picture of you in it
- box of chocolates (the good ones, not the ones from the drug store)
- a luxurious robe
- a nice watch
- framed picture of you together or of your whole family
- any kind of knick knack that she collects or likes
- subscription to her favorite magazine
- any personalized gift such as a engraved piece of jewelry, jewelry box, or frame
- coffee of the month membership (or any other monthly membership like this)
- a bouquet of her favorite flowers
- a basket full of her favorite things
